Festival d’Avignon 2018

This year, I’ve got to be better understanding and appreciating the plays, all except one being performed in French, of course. And there are more than 1,500 stages in more than 400 theatres in town. Simply amazing.

Another thing I came to know this year is that there are mainly IN and OFF: IN is the main shows organized ‘officially’ and there are only a handful of spectacles. OFF is a side event organised by a different organiser, like the Fringe at the Edinburgh Festival.

Too many to choose from, and so hard to pick good ones out. Lots of fun to be had, with café-hopping in between plays and lunch with friends.
